Sweet Briar, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's swimming team took down Sweet Briar 155-46 on Friday evening.
In the short-course meters pool, Mei White set American Paralympic records in three events. She swam the fastest 1,500-meter short course freestyle in the S9 classification and won the event with a 20:06.90. In the 400-meter short course freestyle, she went 5:09.33 for the S9 classification record finishing just over two seconds behind her teammate Sophia Schorr. White placed second in the 100-meter short course breaststroke and set the record with a 1:29.39 for the SB8 classification.
Overall, a Lynchburg swimmer won 10 of the 11 events as the Vixens celebrated Senior Day. Sarah Phipps, Sophia DaCruz, and Caitlyn Moore all swam to their first-career event victories, and Regan Leach and Schorr won both of their events with two individual swims and a relay each.

Lynchburg hosts its final home dual meet of the year on Saturday, Jan. 20 at noon at the Liberty Natatorium against Roanoke and will also celebrate Senior Day.
