Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg's men's soccer program and head coach Chris Yeager are excited to announce that registration for the 2025 Winter Showcase is now open! The camp is scheduled for Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19 on Lynchburg's own Shellenberger Field. Cost is $125 per camper, $650 for teams, and registration is easy as 1, 2, 3!

University of Lynchburg hosts its annual 8 vs. 8 showcase on Jan. 18-19, 2025. In recent years, the showcase has become an integral event for some of the East Coast's top Division I, II, & III soccer programs as well as junior college and NAIA schools. The 2024 showcase boasted over 400 high school-aged players from across the mid-Atlantic region.

The small-sided format allows for increased individual exposure and an intense, fast-paced playing environment. Players will be encouraged and tested in areas such as technical ability,  combination play in tight spaces, positional discipline and physical readiness for the game.

Teams and Individuals will compete in three matches over the course of the weekend (two Saturday and one Sunday). Long-sleeve jerseys will be provided that each player will wear and keep after the showcase. These jersey match the college coaches book we provide to ensure that players can be properly identified by college scouts.

There are multiple divisions including:
Individual Division
Club Division (by age)
Multiple Varsity High School Divisions
JV Division

Games will be 50 minutes in duration (two 25-minute halves) and refereed by local officials. Tours and college activities will also be held on Saturday.
