Hornets Compete At Battle In The Bluegrass

Danville, Ky. -- The University of Lynchburg men's and women's swim teams squared up against the likes of Centre, DePauw, and John Carroll in the Battle In The Bluegrass event, hosted by Centre.

"The Battle in the Bluegrass gave our team the unique experience to compete in multiple events against high-quality competition," said head coach Brad Dunn. "We're excited to see this style of meet pay dividends when we get to championship season."

The Hornets stacked up against high-level competition this weekend in bluegrass state. In the first meet against Centre, the men's squad fell, 144-93, while the women's team lost 177-60.
