Danville, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Averett on Monday. 

All three doubles pairing fell by a score of 1-8. Ashley Hair and Emma Pinola teamed up at No. 1, Jordan Ottaviano and Reese McAtee played together at No. 2, and Sarah Wood and Elizabeth Horine were the duo at the third flight. 

In single action, Hair fell 0-6, 0-6 at No. 1. Pinola went down 0-6, 1-6 at No. 2, and Ottaviano fell 1-6, 0-6 at No. 3. McAtee and Horine both only came away with one game at the fourth and fifth flights, respectively, and Wood fell 0-6, 0-6 at No. 6

The Hornets (2-10, 1-6 ODAC) host Southern Virginia on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
