Box Score Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's tennis team fell to Southern Virginia 1-8 Tuesday afternoon.

Lynchburg dropped all three doubles matches. Ashley Hair and Emma Pinola fell 3-8 at No. 1 doubles to Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold. Jordan Ottaviano and Elizabeth Horine fell at No. 2 doubles, and Sarah Wood and Prerana Bandu fell at No. 3 doubles. Neither No. 2 or No. 3 doubles won a game in their matches. 

In singles play, Wood dropped her match at No. 5 singles 0-6, 1-6. Horine climbed to No. 4 singles and lost 2-6, 1-6. Ottaviano lost her match at No. 3 singles 1-6, 2-6. Hair went down at No. 1 singles 0-6, 2-6. Bandhu lost at No. 6 singles 1-6, 0-6. In a battle at No. 2 singles, Pinola took down her opponent 6-4, 4-6, 10-5. 

Lynchburg (2-11, 1-6 ODAC) will face Guilford in Greensboro on Friday, Apr. 12 at 3 p.m.
