Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's golf program and head coach
Michael Veverka are excited to announce the team's 2025 spring slate of events.Â
The Hornets start off their spring campaign in the Peach State for the South Georgia Invitational, hosted by Georgia Southern University from March 9 through March 11 in Statesboro, Ga. The next competition will see Lynchburg staying south for the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate Golf Championship. That event will be held at the King & Prince Golf Club at St. Simon's Island, Ga. from March 20 through March 23.Â
The rest of the Hornets' competitions will take place in-state, beginning with the Max & Susan Stith Invitational at The Dominion Club in Richmond, Va. from March 30 through April 1. Following will be the VSGA Women's Intercollegiate Championship at the Lexington Country Club in Lexington, Va. from April 13 through April 15.
The squad will wrap up the spring by competing in the ODAC Women's Golf Championship at the Wintergreen Resort in Nellysford, Va. from April 20 through April 23. To view the complete schedule,

This fall, juniors
Lily Rowe and
Gabbie Hollberg highlighted Lynchburg performers. Hollberg finished the fall with a +11 finish at the Golfweek October Classic, enough to tie for 32nd overall. She also had the best performance for the Hornets at the Williams Invitational, placing 26th overall with a score of +13 over both days. Rowe was the top Lynchburg athlete in the Lynn Schweizer Invitational and Tartan Invitational, finishing ninth and 30th overall, respectively.
