Williamsburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's golf team finished up their fall season at the Kingsmill Resort for the Historic Triangle Invitational, hosted by Christopher Newport, and finished 11th overall as a squad with senior
Lily Rowe placing 10th individually.
Rowe put together two solid rounds across the two day tournament to earn a spot in the top-10 of the 79 player field. After shooting five over par in the first round, she came back on day two to shoot just one over par with three birdies, securing a composite score of +6 to tie for 10th.
Senior
Grace Saunders was the next top finisher for the Hornets, landing at 39th with a final score of 14 over par (+8 round one, +6 round two). Senior
Gabbie Hollberg came in just behind Saunders with a +15 composite score for 43rd. Hollberg started strong, just three over after the first round, and closed out the final round at +12.
Taylor Park (76th, +13) and
Lily Hollberg (77th, +21) rounded out Lynchburg performers for the tournament.
