Coral Springs, Fla. ---The University of Lynchburg women's golf team has been recognized on the 2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team with five student-athletes earning the prestigious honor.
Senior Emma Nicol, junior Lily Rowe, sophomore Madelyn Linares, graduate student Sydney Pickell, and freshman Grace Saunders were all selected for their outstanding academic performance this past academic year.
The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are among the most rigorous in college athletics. Honorees must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, compete in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds through the conference championship, and remain an amateur on the roster through the end of the season.
