Prattville, Ala. -- The Hornets concluded their penultimate invitational of the spring campaign with a seventh place finish at the Capital City Invitational.
Three Hornets tied for a team-best overall score of 146 across both days:
Ben Chamberlin,
Alan Van Asch, and
Cooper Mizelle, tying for the 17th best individual performance. Chamberlin notched the lowest score in a single round for the team on day one, finishing with a 70.
In addition,
Eddie Coffren V and
Joey Easmeil shot well for the Hornets, recording a 148 and 149 respectively.
The Hornets found their rhythm on the back nine both days, shooting +2 as a group on day one and even on day two. Lynchburg especially excelled on the two final holes, claiming 13 birdies on the last two holes of the course.

Next up for Lynchburg is their final invitational before the ODAC Championship, traveling to Memphis, Tenn. for the Cochran Collegiate Invitational. The Hornets will resume action on Monday, April 14, for their two day slate.
