Penfield, N.Y. --Â University of Lynchburg senior Eddie Coffren V has been named to the 2025 NCAA Division III PING All-Region IV Team, adding another honor to an already stellar season.
Coffren, a native of Owings, Md., earned First Team All-ODAC recognition this spring after consistently ranking among the top-10 golfers in NCAA Division III throughout the year. He wrapped up the regular season with an impressive 72.0 scoring average over 24 rounds, showcasing his consistency and competitive edge.
His strong play continued into the postseason, where he played a pivotal role in leading Lynchburg to its second consecutive ODAC Championship. Coffren fired a team-best two-under-par in the conference tournament, helping secure the Hornets' repeat title.
Now, Coffren and the Hornets turn their focus to the national stage. With momentum on their side, the team heads to Rochester, N.Y., for the NCAA Division III Championships, which run from Tuesday, May 20, to Friday, May 23. Lynchburg looks to cap off its remarkable season by contending for a national title and bringing home even more hardware.
