Forest, Va. -- Following a record-setting performance in the men's high jump this past weekend, Lamont Victoria of the University of Lynchburg track and field team was selected as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

At the Rockingham Collegiate Classic hosted by Bridgewater this past Friday, Victoria cleared 2.15m (7'0.5") to place first of the group and set the ODAC record for the event. His mark currently sits as the second-best across Division III this season. To view the complete results from last Friday's meet, click here.

The Hornets are preparing for the ODAC Indoor Championships this weekend in Salem, Va. from Saturday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, March 1. More information including live results and live stream links will be published on lynchburgsports.com in the near future.
