HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Lynchburg senior
Alan Van Asch was named to the PING All-Region IV Team on Sunday night, the National Collegiate Athletic Association announced in coordination with the Golf Coaches Association of America at the NCAA National Championship Banquet.
The honor marks the first all-region selection of Van Asch's four-year career with the Hornets. Van Asch has capped off an outstanding collegiate campaign with one of the finest seasons of his career. The Raleigh, N.C., native adds this recognition to an already accomplished 2026 season that includes First Team All-ODAC honors and an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships, which are set to begin Tuesday, May 12.
Throughout the 2025-26 season, Van Asch recorded two top-three finishes, including a victory at the VSGA Intercollegiate Championship. Across 27 rounds, he posted an adjusted scoring average of 71.6.
