Hilton Head Island, S.C. -- University of Lynchburg's women's tennis team ran its winning streak to three Tuesday afternoon with a 9-0 sweep of Gettysburg at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center as part of Spring Tennis Fest.
The Hornets swept through doubles play as Lauren Pascadlo and Alissa Anderson posted an 8-0 win at No. 2 and Elizabeth Teefey and Grace Teefey followed suit at No. 3.
The top flight was a little tougher for Lynchburg (5-1), but Christina Harris and Caroline Guill managed an 8-4 win.
Lynchburg easily locked down the match in singles play as Harris, Elizabeth Teefey, Ellen Druebbisch, Anderson, Pascadlo, and Alexa Hardesty all locked down straight-set victories.
The Hornets will look for their seventh-straight win on Hilton Head Island -- a streak dating back to March 4, 2018 -- Friday as Spring Tennis Fest concludes against Wooster at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center at 7 p.m.
