Lynchburg, Va. -- University of Lynchburg women's tennis beat Randolph 9-0 Wednesday afternoon.
The Hornets swept doubles action without dropping a game. Christina Harris and Lauren Pascadlo won their seventh doubles match of the season at the first flight. Elizabeth Teefey and Grace Teefey were victorious at No. 2, and Alissa Anderson and Alexa Hardesty won at the third flight.
In singles play, Lynchburg continued its dominance. Pascadlo swept her opponent at the second-singles flight. Harris, Elizabeth Teefey, Anderson, and Mimi Oliver each only dropped one game at No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6, respectively. Emma Pinola wrapped up the sweep with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the fifth flight.
Harris claimed the 99th singles win of her career. She looks to become the first Lynchburg tennis player to reach the centennial mark on Friday, Apr. 22 at Virginia Wesleyan.
The Hornets (14-1, 6-1 ODAC) are in fourth place with three more conference matches remaining in the regular season.
