Lynchburg, Va. -- University of Lynchburg women's tennis fell to Washington and Lee 6-0 on Senior Day.
Lynchburg celebrated its four graduating players: Alissa Anderson, Christina Harris, Mimi Oliver, and Lauren Pascadlo.
Anderson lost at No. 4 but ends the regular season with the second-most singles wins in program history. She owns 49 singles wins. On Apr. 15, 2019, Anderson was the conference's player of the week. She ends the season tied for the second-most wins on the team with 17.
Harris played a close match at No. 1 but dropped the first set then lost in a tiebreaker. At No. 1 doubles, Harris and Pascadlo lost 5-8. She is the program's leader in wins with 101 singles victories.

Oliver did not compete on Tuesday but ended her season with four singles wins and and an undefeated record in doubles action. Oliver was also on the Lynchburg women's basketball team.
Pascadlo lost out at the second-singles flight. She enjoyed a decorated career including 2021 VaSID Second-Team All-State (Doubles), 2021 First-Team All-ODAC (No. 2 Doubles), and
2021 Second-Team All-ODAC (No. 4 Singles). Pascadlo won 22 singles matchers in her career at Lynchburg.
Elizabeth Teefey and Grace Teefey lost only their fourth doubles match of the season, and Anderson and Alexa Hardesty lost at No. 3 doubles.
The Hornets (16-2, 8-2 ODAC) enjoyed one of their best seasons in program history. Lynchburg earned its second-best winning percentage and surpassed 2020-21's win total by two.
Lynchburg is in third place of the conference after play on Tuesday. The Hornets await the ODAC's announcement of seeding and dates for the conference tournament, but they will compete in their sixth-straight postseason.
