Williamstown, Mass. -- The University of Lynchburg women's golf team earned 14th place of 23 teams in the Williams Invitational, hosted by Williams at the Taconic Golf Club, on Sunday evening.
The Hornets placed in the middle of the pack in their second fall competition of the 2024 season.
Gabbie Hollberg highlighted the Lynchburg performance, placing 26th overall with a score of +13 over both days.
Grace Saunders was second on the squad with a score of +20 that placed her 50th overall.
Madelyn Linares (+24),
Lily Rowe (+26), and
Emma Nicol (+29) were the other Hornet performers that participated in the event.
Next up for Lynchburg is the Carnegie Mellon Fall Invite in Farmington, Pa. at the Nemacolin Resort, taking place on Monday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 8.
