Lexington, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's golf squad had a solid outing to wrap up competitions prior to the ODAC Championship with a sixth-place finish at the VSGA Women's Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by the Lexington Golf & Country Club.
The Hornets had all five of its performers finish inside the top 25 individually.
Lily Rowe highlighted the Lynchburg performance with a 13th-place finish at 21 over par.
Emma Nicol was the next top finisher for Lynchburg, cracking inside the top-20 with a +24 finish for 19th place.Â
Grace Saunders,
Sydney Pickell, and
Madelyn Linares concluded the tournament in 22nd through 24th places, in that order. Saunders finished at 85 each day for 26 over par, Pickell ended at +27 and Linares finished at +28.Â
