Salem, Va. – The University of Lynchburg indoor track & field teams posted another record-breaking weekend as athletes competed at the Roanoke Bast-Cregger Invitational and Steemer Showcase at Wittenberg University.
The Hornets posted 29 top-10 marks at Roanoke College, while the distance athletes secured 11 top-10 performances at Wittenberg. Saturday's efforts also featured an indoor women's 300m school record, as Rylee Turner improved her time to 41.81 and won the event at Roanoke College.

Aidan Hipp registered a new personal best in the men's high jump, setting a 6' 6¼" (1.99m) mark for second place and 31st on the Division III indoor qualifying list. Micah Leech followed behind for fourth place, clearing the 6' 2¼" (1.89m) bar.
Following a personal best on Friday, Antaveon Steele accelerated to an 8.47 finish in the men's 60-meter hurdles and claimed third place.
Parker Marshall soared to an individual victory in the men's 300m, crossing the line in 36.84, almost a second ahead of the field. The first-year Hornet also snuck inside the top five of the men's 200m dash, clocking 23.20 for fifth place.Â
