Indianapolis – Seven athletes for the Lynchburg outdoor track & field teams registered nine national qualifying marks to secure a spot in the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wis.
Each of Lynchburg's six competitors from the NCAA Indoor Championships punched a ticket to the outdoor finale, while sophomore Demetri Hinton earned his first national entry in the men's triple jump.
The Lynchburg men's team placed fifth in the team standings at NCAA Indoors with 30 points, led by Lamont Victoria's national title in the men's 60-meter dash and second-place finish in the men's high jump. Victoria, Alex Jordan, Chasen Hunt and Micah Leech earned First Team All-American honors for finishing inside the top eight of their respective events.
