Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg men's golf team and head coach Allen Smith are thrilled to reveal its schedule of competitions for the 2026-27 season.

The Hornets will open the fall campaign at the Gate City Invitational, hosted at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, on September 14-15. Lynchburg continues its fall slate with a trip to Ligonier, Pennsylvania, for The Tartan Invitational at Laurel Valley Golf Club on October 12-13.

The men's golf team remains on the road for two more events to conclude the fall season. The Hornets will compete in the Jeff Roope Invitational at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ohio, on October 19-20 before wrapping up the fall at the O'Briant Jensen Memorial at The Cardinal in Greensboro, North Carolina, on October 26-27.

Lynchburg returns to competition in the spring at The Savannah Invitational, hosted at The Club at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Georgia, on March 1-2. The Hornets will then head to Pinehurst, North Carolina, for The Tiger Invitational at Forest Creek Golf Club on March 8-9.

The spring schedule continues with the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Jekyll Island, Georgia, from March 19-21. Lynchburg follows with the Capital City Classic at RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill Golf Club in Prattville, Alabama, on March 29-30 before closing the regular season at the Sam Snead Invitational at The Golden Horseshoe in Williamsburg, Virginia, on April 12-13.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship is scheduled for a date to be announced. The NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship will take place May 18-21 at Kingsmill Resort's River Course and Plantation Course in Williamsburg, Virginia.
