The 1986 Lynchburg College women's lacrosse team went 14-4 and a perfect 6-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play on its way to a conference championship and an NCAA Division III semifinal appearance before bowing out to The College of New Jersey, 8-3.

Kappie Fraher and Annie Overton earned IWLCA All-America honors, and Fraher, Overton, Alicia Gallone, Alice McDaniel, and Arraminta Ware were all tabbed All-Chesapeake Region.

Head coach Enza Inturissi (later Steele) claimed the second of her four ODAC coach of the year awards.
