Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame
A key figure in the history of Lynchburg women’s lacrosse, Christina Tran delivered a remarkable collegiate career that solidified her spot in the program record books. She ranks 2nd in single-season goals against average since 1996 (7.78) and 3rd in career goals against average in that span (9.65). Her 484 career saves rank 6th all-time at Lynchburg, and she sits 4th in program history with 189 ground balls. Among goalkeepers with at least 200 saves, her .485 save percentage ranks seventh. A three-time All-ODAC selection, she also earned All-Chesapeake Region honors and was recognized nationally as a 2011 IWLCA All-American. Her legacy stands as one of the best to ever play the position at Lynchburg.
