Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame
Cemented in history as one of the best women’s basketball players to put on the Lynchburg jersey, Shannon Allan tops the record book with the most points scored in a collegiate career in program history. Her 1,704 career point total spanning from the 2011 season through her final year in 2015 is 152 more than the next top scorer in program history, Kelly Fackler ‘97. The four-time All-ODAC selection ranks 7th all-time in rebounds (672), 8th in assists (231), 5th in blocked shots (131), and is tied for 9th in steals (141). Additionally, Allan shot .842 percent from the foul line throughout her collegiate career, which is the best mark in Lynchburg history of performers that made at least 100 free throws during their time with the Hornets.
