Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame
LaBrie put up one of the best seasons in program history when he amassed 77 hits, 19 doubles, 61 runs, and 31 stolen bases in 2008. He was awarded the ODAC's player of the year award for his efforts as he helped bring the Hornets to the NCAA tournament. He was also Lynchburg's male athlete of the year in 2007 when he hit nine triples, batted .390, and drove in 42 runs. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 2008 MLB First year Player Draft and played three seasons in Washington's minor-league system.
