Special Citation - 2025 Men’s Golf Individual National Championship

One of the best golfers to compete for the Hornets, Eddie Coffren V earned the first NCAA DIII Individual National Championship Award in program history and fourth ever in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in 2025. Throughout the entire competition, Coffren was at the top of the leaderboard and never dropped below second place. He concluded the national championship with a final composite score of six under par and 18 total birdies throughout the four rounds. Following the conclusion of the championship, Coffren was named a PING First Team All-American. He helped his team place second as a group in the NCAA Championship for the highest placement on the national stage since 1980.
