Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame
Joe Lisicky, a member of the Lynchburg men's lacrosse team from 2010 through 2013, was the first ever First Team All-American in program history. He earned the honor following the 2012 season. Lisicky was the ODAC Player of the Year twice, in 2011 and 2012. After being voted Preseason Player of the Year in 2013, he suffered an injury and was unable to play in the 2013 season. He took his medical redshirt year and continued playing at UVA, where he would earn his MBA. After his season with the Cavaliers, where his squad made the NCAA quarterfinal round, he was drafted into the MLL (Major League Lacrosse).
